Each year they looked older and more independent, yet each year brought more apprehensions as to what new experience they may encounter. And each year brought more pride in what they accomplish and more trust in what they will become. Oh yeah, and each year reminded you that you are getting older too and perhaps a little less necessary in their lives. Garbage day may not change, but life sure does.
